Visual Merchandising explore on 2019/2/26
Free people

I was attracted by the sparklings. The sparklings use the same warm light as Free People uses in the store. The garments they show is 2019 Spring. More sheer and lightweight fabric, more bright colors like yellow, pink and white. Also they have denim products.
Anthropologie

Anthropologie’s show window is like a spring garden. It is full of flowers, so I guess floral maybe one of its theme. Colors they use are yellow, pink, blue and green. And neckline is mostly V neck.
Guess

Guess’s show window is more colorful and young. Is has more Neon color. and the last picture is about the collection with J Balvin(singer). The colors in Guess are more boring: white, black, red, yellow and green. The fabric is not that summer, not as sheer and light as free people. And the style of the clothing is more sporty.

Saks Fifth Ave’s show window is about handbag. Maybe it has something to do with their new renovated layout. They move the beauty section to the second floor and the first floor becomes handbag show case. The handbags are all in white and black with marbling. The show windows use the light and mirror reflection. It looks so cool.
Summary
The trendy colors I saw in these windows were yellow, blue, pink and white. The fabric was semi-sheer and lightweight. I did not see many silhouette. But I saw a lot of V-neck tops and ruffle design.
